Terms of stay

We look forward to welcoming you to The MAJULAN Hotel, ITCC Penampang. Kindly take note of the following terms of stay to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests:

Check-in time: 3:00 PM
Check-out time: 12:00 PM
Early check-in / Late check-out: Subject to availability and additional charges. Please contact reception in advance to make arrangements.
Identification: All guests must present a valid MyKad or passport upon check-in for registration as required under Malaysian law.
Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required upon check-in to cover incidental charges or damages.
Smoking policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms. A cleaning fee will be imposed for violations.
Pets: No pets are allowed on the premises.
Visitors: Non-registered guests are not allowed in guest rooms after 10:00 PM.
Noise: Please keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10:00 PM, in consideration of other guests.
Liability: The hotel is not liable for loss or damage of personal belongings. Safety deposit boxes are available at the reception upon request.
Damage: Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to hotel property caused by themselves, their friends, or visitors.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove guests who do not comply with these terms.

Booking cancellation

Cancellations made:

More than 48 hours before the scheduled check-in date: No cancellation fee will be charged.
Within 48 hours of the check-in date: A cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay will apply.
No-show or same-day cancellations: The full reservation amount will be charged.

For non-refundable or promotional bookings, full prepayment is required and cancellations are not allowed. Please review the specific terms at the time of booking.

Late cancellations (within 48 hours): One night’s charge applies.
No-shows: Charged in full.
Non-refundable or advance purchase bookings: Fully charged at time of booking, no refund or cancellation allowed.

All requests for changes or cancellations must be made in writing or via your booking platform.
